Overview of the curriculum at Westminster Global Academy
Westminster Global Academy offers two diversified curriculums, one is the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the other is Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Our school ensures that students’ academic experience is the best learning module for various challenges posed in a globalized world. We get the best academic excellence, students critical thinking with a global perspective which help us to meet the needs of every child.


IB Curriculum at Westminster Global Academy
International Baccalaureate is a forefront international education focused on holistic aspects required for students’ overall development. It encompasses inquisitiveness, grounded knowledge, disciplined life fostering young scholars to grow into leaders of tomorrow’s world.
IB programmes are designed to develop ambitious and competent individuals to help cope all today’s challenges with optimism. Students at IB world schools are given a diverse education.
IB comprises of 4 programmes – Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) and Career Related Programme (CP). According to research, IB Diploma Programme in the USA suggested that students who have taken part in the DP during High School are more likely in academics to adapt to the expectations of college.

IB PYP at WGA
We believe that the IB curriculum involves ideal learning approaches towards primary schooling in the world. It forms strong foundation for learning in the formative years through inquiry-based learning. The base of IB PYP is its commitment to international-mindedness and this belief is enshrined in all our practices at WGA. The goal is to produce a common curriculum framework, for students, in the range of 3-12 age groups, which would provide continuity of learning to take it forward for further education in our school. PYP curriculum at WGA is dynamic and comprehensive in nature which moves to learn across, between and beyond disciplines.
IB MYP at WGA
IB MYP at Westminster Global Academy is particularly designed to offer a holistic education and help students achieve success in school and life. It aims for students to develop their personal understanding, for growing a sense of self and responsibility in their community, in addition to conceptual understanding, approaches to learning, community service, and language and identity. The MYP is designed for 11 to 16 age-group of students. Our learning approach encourages students to become creative, critical and pro-active thinkers. IB MYP ensures profound understanding through study in eight subject groups – Language Acquisition, Language and Literature, Individuals and Societies, Sciences, Mathematics, Arts, Physical and Health Education, and Design. MYP, at WGA, offers a range of innovative eAssessments that go beyond traditional learning, along with community and student projects.

The CBSE Curriculum at Westminster Global Academy
Our CBSE-based curriculum places a great impact on the basics in a wide range of academic topics while promoting all-round education. Much importance is given to developing the skills related to analysis and solving problems with a well-structured and logical approach toward learning.
The board’s curriculum consists of a wide range of subjects, including streams of sciences and mathematics, languages, and humanities, through which a student gains comprehensive knowledge in these streams.
Co-curricular activities in the CBSE curriculum include many more areas, such as sports and arts. It builds interest among the students in such areas and make them well-prepared for any national competitive examination and further equips them with the necessary values and skills to succeed not only at the national level but also at an international level.
